Giving Back: November

Why Give?

We recognize that our world is better off when we practice the art of giving.

As a company, we believe that we should be profitable but with those profits should be good stewards to our local community. That being said, we are going to feature a charity spotlight that our employees pick on a monthly basis.

Without further ado – meet our November Charity Spotlight – Barefoot Republic chosen by our Sales Manager, Brooks Parker.

Tell us about the organization you chose.

Barefoot Republic is a camp ministry that facilitates healthy relationships between school-age children from diverse racial, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds through an equally diverse platform of artistic, athletic and team-building programs.

Why is this organization important to you or how has it impacted you personally?

was introduced to Barefoot Republic through my dear friend, and Streamline client, Amy Grant. Her passion for the organization has extended to hosting the summer camps on her personal farm here in Franklin the last several summers, in addition to participating in fundraising and even teaching classes at the camps. This December, Streamline will produce Lipscomb University’s 15th Annual “Lighting of the Green”, which will raise money for Barefoot Republic in honor of Amy Grant who has hosted the show since its inception. I decided this would be a great opportunity for Streamline to kick off the giving and jumpstart the funds that will be raised that evening to support such a positive and impactful mission right here in our own community.

Finish the sentence: I give back because…

I give back because I have been blessed and want to bless others in return.

If you could give a word of encouragement to this organization, what would it be?

Continue the great work you are doing in the lives of these children. The foundation that’s being laid in their lives will have a direct impact on the future of the world, and we thank you for investing so heavily in them.
