Giving Back: December

Why Give?

We recognize that our world is better off when we practice the art of giving.

As a company, we believe that we should be profitable but with those profits should be good stewards to our local community. That being said, we are going to feature a charity spotlight that our employees pick on a monthly basis.

Without further ado – meet our December Charity Spotlight – The Well Outreach chosen by our Production Manager, Chad Lambert.

1. Tell us about the organization that you chose.

I am choosing the Well Outreach from Spring Hill, TN. They started as a local food pantry in 2006, and have grown tremendously by the support of the local Spring Hill community and surrounding areas. Today they support and give to areas in Spring Hill, Thompson Station, College Grove, Sante Fe, and parts of Columbia.

2. How has this organization impacted you personally?

I think it is an organization that is in the business of helping other people and one that I can jump on board with. This time of year is great to point out all of our blessings, but for those who may be struggling it could have the opposite effect. I hope that by supporting our communities and lifting those around us we can change the holidays for those less fortunate.

3. Finish the sentence: I give back because…

I give back because so much has been given to me especially with it being the holiday season. Giving is always better than receiving and it keeps life into perspective.

4. If you could give a word of encouragement to this organization, what would it be?

Keep helping other people. It is making an impact not just in the local community but in surrounding areas.
