We recognize that our world is better off when we practice the art of giving. As a company, we believe we should be profitable but with those profits should be good stewards to our local community.
One member of our team gets to pick a charity that we as a company can support for the month. This month’s charity, Mercy Multiplied, was chosen by Melodie Cooper, Project Manager.
Q&A with Melodie Cooper – Project Manager
1. Tell us about the organization you chose.
Mercy Multiplied is a residential program that helps girls ages 13-28 to stop destructive cycles, discover purpose & become productive & thriving individuals. Some of the situations they help include eating disorders, unplanned pregnancy, sex trafficking & depression.
2. Why is this organization important to you or how has it impacted you personally?
This is a faith-based organization, and is completely voluntary for the girls (not like a rehab center). I love that they help girls through all walks of life overcome dire situations, and give them mercy & hope.
3. Finish the sentence: I give back because…
these girls need a fresh, clean start, and to know that they’re loved.
4. If you could give a word of encouragement to this organization, what would it be?
I’ve seen how you give hope and purpose to each of these girls who come to you from all walks of life, for help… a true example of being Jesus’ hands and feet! Keep up the good work!
